GREEN LAUNDERING

BANZAI7 NEWS--A row has broken out in Greenwich, Conn., after the ritzy suburb and haven for New York City’s elite banned clotheslines from public housing.

According to The Greenwich Time, the town’s housing authority banished the lines over concerns about liability, but residents of at least one complex housing seniors say that’s absurd.

“It’s like they treat us like we’re old and senile,” said Grace McDaniel, a retired school bus driver and public housing resident. She said she uses a laundry line every day, in an effort to be green. "Its ok for the rest of those hedge hogs to launder their money but I can't launder my clothes! Exactly what is meant by green laundering?"
