HEAVY TRAFFIC JAMMED

File Photo
BANZAI7 NEWS--A nine-month traffic jam outside Beijing has drivers fuming, street vendors turning a quick profit and Chinese traffic authorities struggling for answers.  Traffic has been slowed to a crawl since last november on a 100-kilometer stretch of National Expressway 110 that runs between Beijing and Heibei province.  Officials say the jam is caused by an increase in trucks carrying goods for shipment to the United States.

One driver, named only as Mr Jiab who was delivering 49 tons of IPad screen guards from Shandong province said he had been stranded in the section near Wulanchabu city in Inner Mongolia for 6 months.

The traffic jam now joins the Great Wall of China, the Federal deficit and the AIG Black Hole as a man-made marvel viewable from outer space.
