TALKIN BOUT THE 20+2 GENERATION

NYT--Three traders are rocking out with their new government-bond hedge fund, 5:15 Capital Management.

The hedge fund, named after the track “5:15” on The Who’s 1973 album “Quadrophenia,” launches trading today, armed with with about $60 million, Morris Sachs, one of the founders, told Bloomberg News.

20+2 GENERATION
(5:15, The Who)

Why should we care?
Why should we care?

Hedge hogger dreams
Irrational but knowing
The investors are sniffing
The trader baloney
Returns seem seductive
Without committing
Ivy league boys are digging
Wealthier fame.

Risk free returns
A Wall Street distortion
Market gyrations
In our minds and our toes
Quantitative bilge water
The 20+2 generation
Ups and downs
Either way the management fees flow.

Inside outside
Leave me alone.
Inside outside
The floor is my home.
Inside outside
Where have I been?
Out of my brain on a Reuters Screens
Out of my brains on the Screens again!

Isn't it daft hunting investor quarry
NAV slowly sinking.
The usual story
Hedged incompletely
Dreadfully scary
Alpha pimping.
Sign on the door
Black box crunching.

Hedge hog drag queens
In the glittering board room
Greyly outrageous
In their John Lobb brogues
Tightly undone
They know what they're showing
Sadly apoplectic
With their hero's bad news.

Inside outside
Leave me alone.
Inside outside
The floor is my home.
Inside outside
Where have I been?
Out of my brain on a Reuters Screen
Out of my brains on the screen again!

Why should we care?
Why should we care?
