TEENAGE WASTELAND ("one of the clearest and thought provoking insights Morgan Stanley has ever seen")

BANZAI7 NEWS--A report on teenage media habits by Matthew Robson, a 15-year-old intern at Morgan Stanley in London, elicited dozens of e-mails and phone calls from fund managers and several CEOs, the Financial Times reported.

The schoolboy was set the task by the bank's European media analysts, who judged the result ``one of the clearest and most thought-provoking insights'' they had seen and published it, the newspaper said. Overall its says much about the quality of Wall Street research written by 6 figure analysts.
The report is the latest manifestation of the low margin research trend on Wall Street. Morgan is rumored to be planning a series of "hands on" reports including, Trends in Automotive Innovation by Chico the Mechanic, Financial Industry Highlights by Ruth Madoff, Home Improvement Highlights by Joe the Plumber, Healthcare Reform Outlook by Dr. Vinnie Boombatz, Designer Label Madness by Sarah Palin and Oil Outlook by "W".

WB7: Bottomline, why go to Morgan Stanley when you can just ask your teenagers?
