TREASURY GEITHNER IS ON POT (and calling the kettle black)

BANZAI7 NEWS--U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner on Monday called for more transparency at the World Bank and similar organizations, saying donor countries want to be assured any new funds provided will be well-managed.

"We will be seeking critical institutional reforms in any consideration of additional resources," he said.

"We will not tolerate the kind of opaque shifting and cronyism that goes on in Burma, Zimbabwe and the United States Federal Reserve Bank."
