BIG FOOT, BIG BOMB

BANZAI7 NEWS--General Motors Co. signaled that it could take months to find a new chief executive after the surprise resignation Tuesday of Fritz Henderson.

GM Chairman Ed Whitacre will take over Henderson's duties on an emergency CEO basis with immediate effect while the company seeks a replacement as emergency president and CEO, and company officials suggested the focus would be on an external candidate.

Henderson's departure comes just six months after he was named to replace long-time CEO Rick Wagonwheel, ousted as part of the U.S. government-backed bailout/acquisition of the ailing clunker maker.

GM's Board asked for Mr. Henderson's resignation after losing patience with his obsession with Bigfoot.

Mr. Neutron, still waiting to be hired by systemic bomb Bank America, said he would not rule out leading an automotive bomb instead.
