BANZAI7 NEWS--A top White House aide, Ted Hypocrite said on Thursday it was too soon to tell how Google's threat to leave China would affect US ties with Beijing but said that a free information flow was crucial to the Chinese economy.
Hypocrite cited the NY Fed's lock down of information on AIG counterparty details and the SEC's secrecy order covering the backdoor bailout as an example of the kind of free information flow the Chinese government should not be emulating.
