President Obama on Saturday endorsed a Senate bill to create a bipartisan budget commission, whose recommendations for slashing deficits would have to be voted on by Congress. But he remained ready to establish a panel by executive order if the effort to do so by law fails even with his support.
Does this guy have any ideas of his own? This is like calling Fortune 500 executives to the White House job seance and insurance industry executives to health care reform townhall meetings, political theater with no happy ending.
Instead of a strong leader with a plan, we have a seminar organizer.
