IN SPACE NO ONE CAN HEAR YOU WHEN YOU TWEET

BANZAI7 NEWS--A NASA astronaut made history on Friday by sending the first tweet from outer space. Flight Engineer Twit. R. Screamer broadcast the following message directly from the International Space Station:

"Hello Twitterverse! We r now LIVE tweeting from the Intrntnl Spce Sttion -- the 1st lve twit from Spce! O-)--- I big step for twitter and one reverse step for grammer.  -... .. .--  -.. . .- .-.."

NASA is hoping that the worlds first space TWIT marks the beginning of an American resurgence in space technology. Just as the Apollo program spawned a panoply of technological innovations like Tang, velcro, sticky window toys, roll on butter, goretex jockey shorts and the zero gravity bra, NASA hopes the Space Twit program will generate a panoply of new grammatical errors.

Not to be outdone China is expanding its space censor program for adaptation to Tweet technology.
